Tonight’s food adventure led us to The Radish in Grimes. A quaint little eatery that accommodated our group of ten with friendly service and good food.

A big fan of the bread, but the two dinner forks confused him. ;)

The House Specialty - Cannelloni: A blend of pork, veal, beef, chicken and romano cheese and Italian herbs and spices. Rolled in pasta and baked.

The cheese burger comes with ice cream if your sweet enough.

Three of us ordered the Bella Pasta: Rigatoni Pasta tossed with olive oil, burnt garlic, shitake mushrooms, peas, roasted red pepper and a pinch of reggiano cheese.

It was surprisingly spicy!!

;
The Almond Encrusted Mahi Mahi: Topped with pineapple and radish salsa. Served with wild rice.
Keith only wanted one mahi since he wasn’t that hungry, ha. Then could only describe the meal as “not manly enough”.

The Pasta Pesto: Linguine tossed with fresh basil, pine nuts, garlic, olive oil and romano cheese. Added chicken bumped it up to a perfect 10 and caused it to be the best meal of the table.

The Linguine Alfredo was another big hit: tossed with brown garlic, cream and finished with romano cheese.

Also impressed with the Cavetelli: Penne pasta tossed with homemade meat sauce, marinara and ricotta cheese. smothered in mozzarella. Also the mustache is coming in nicely. ;)

I love getting to see some of my cousins!!

After dinner we continued our Back to the Future marathon.
7 out of 10 Great Scotts!
