S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y. Hey!
Adventures this Saturday night started by checking out the Roller Derby.

The Derby Dames are fierce! This was my first time seeing the Derby Dames and while the men’s team (Your Mom) was kicking butt, I chatted with some of the roller derby girls. Smallsbury Steak and Autopsy Turvey were very informative and friendly! Check out the Dame’s website and get out there and try something new. http://www.dmderbydames.com/
Watching all that skating worked up an appetite, so we headed to Christopher’s.

My friend Nick here wants more photos of people in my blog so here we are with some wine. :)

mmmm bread.

Our meals came with either soup or salad.
Baked Potato Soup is a great option.

Try the house dressing. Sweet creamy Italian.

Pan Seared Scallops w/ mashed potatoes and broccoli drizzled with a Cajun cream sauce.

Nick was pretty excited about it.

I went with the Pasta ala Mediterranean: roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts (love them!), tomatoes, tossed with cappellini. enhanced with shrimp. I think it would have been just as tasty without the extra shrimp. So many delicious flavors going on in this meal!

Frank Sinatra was on and the staff all seemed to be in a good mood. I also had plenty of food to take home for a delicious lunch tomorrow.
