Utilized another sweet Travelzoo coupon last night at Baratta’s. $20 for $40 worth of food/drink.
So to get to that $40 price range we went with a bottle of wine.
Our entrees came with a soup or salad. So my friend got the Pepper Cheese Soup
and I got the salad. Lesson: Always go with the soup, so much more comforting than salad. :)
Lasagna: Italian sausage gave it a little kick, but it was good and reminded my friend of his mom’s cooking.
I went with the Chicken Amaggio: linguini with roasted red peppers and mushrooms with a white wine/olive oil/lemon/garlic sauce. Soooo tasty. I can see why it is a house favorite.
Plenty of leftovers for lunch today…
Our travelzoo coupon came with free brownies, so we split one and took the other to go.

Giving this gem a 7 out 10. It has a family feel and great food. Also a popular spot for homecoming and prom goers. I was kind of nervous about getting a table on a Saturday night, but they had plenty of room for us. Close to downtown, so check them out. www.barattas.com
